about me
I'm Fernanda, a Senior Conceptual Copywriter and a comedian based in New York City.
My brain is bicultural, so I laugh in hahaha and jajaja and I'm frequently code-switching. I write and concept in English and Spanish — not word for word, but cultura for cultura.
I've spent 12+ years helping brands figure out what they actually want to say, then saying it in a way people don't want to skip. I've worked with agencies like McCann, MullenLowe, and Televisa Univision's Asi Studios. My work has been short-listed at Cannes, won a LIA, and a Gold Muse Award most recently.
My training as an improviser and sketch writer at UCB and Second City keeps my creative instincts sharp. I love to tackle a brief like I'm in a writer's room. Fast, collaborative, always looking for an unexpected angle.
